Day 1: Chiclayo – Bosque Pomac – Olmos: Discovering the Dry Forest Trip Birding Northern Peru .

Day 6: Abra Patricia – Rioja: New Birds, New Landscapes -Trip Birding Northern Peru.

Rioja offers a transition from highland to subtropical ecosystems, allowing birders to spot species typically found in both highland and lowland forests. The group will overnight at a local hotel in Rioja.

Day 7: Rioja – Wakanky Lodge (Moyobamba): Endemic Species and Hummingbirds

Day 7 offers a visit to Morro de Calzada, a community with rich birdlife, where birdwatchers can look for endemic species like the Misshana Tyrannulet and Red-billed Tyrannulet. Day 9: Tarapoto – Yurimaguas: Birding in the Lowlands
