We pick you up from your Cusco hotel early and head west out of Cusco to Ancahuasi. From here we head across the high plains and Puna Grasslands to the picturesque village of Chonta where we start our 2-hour slow walk to the Condor overlook. We will be birding the whole way as we walk out to the Condors. Andean birds we may see include Golden-billed Saltator, a variety of Sierra Finches, Hooded Siskin, Black-chested Buzzard-Eagle and Variable Hawk and much more.
