At your arrival to Puerto Maldonado we will accommodate you at your hotel, right after you are accommodated we will have lunch.in the afternoon we will head towards La Pastora where we will look for the following bird species: Purus Jacamar, White Throated Jacamar, Black Banded Crake, Hoatzin, Black billed Seed Finch Buff Breasted wren, and Gray Hawk Night at Puerto Maldonado.

In our way to Saona Lodge we will look for several species of birds, we can observe Tanagers, Flycatchers, Puffbirds, Antbirds, Antwrens, Antshrikes, woodpeckers, parrots, Macaws, Trogons, Owls, Manakins, Trumpeter among others.
Day 3rd, 4th, and 5th: Birding at Saona Lodge -
At Saona Lodge we have the Tres Chimbadas Lake, Parrot and Macaw Clay Licks as well as several trails. There we can observe herons, Egrets, Ducks, Horned Screamer, pale Eyed Black Bird, silvered Antbird, Band tailed Antbird and Kingfishers. We will also have the opportunity to see the endangered Giant Otters and explore a Bamboo forest looking for Bamboo species.
